Monitor fires are definitely one of those irrational-thought moments. You're sitting there playing. You start hearing a crackling sound as smoke and, shortly after, sparkler-like streams of light are flying from the back of the monitor. And panic fills you. Maybe this will burn my house down! I'm not sure I have the money to replace the monitor right now. Oh gawd... It's been over 30 minutes since my last save!!! And for a few seconds, I had a serious debate over whether to turn the monitor off or try and save my game. Hehe, thanks. Monitor fires are definitely one of those irrational-thought moments.
